Coldstone Creamery

- Products Used E25 and A25CW -

Donald and Susan Sutherland created the Coldstone Brand in 1988 when they opened their first creamery store in Tempe, Arizona. Today, more than 1000 stores are open across the USA.

Their aim was to supply ice-cream freshly made to the highest standards of quality, taste and consistency, and to offer a variety of ingredients to add in when ordering the ice cream - such as fresh fruit, dried fruit, candied peel, nuts and brownies - which is where the Moffat oven comes in.

Every Coldstone Creamery uses a Moffat E25 convection oven to prepare freshly baked brownies for the mix ins, and some even use to roast nuts.

The compact footprint, low utility needs and simple operation of the Moffat oven - together with our ability to work with the customer in forecasting their requirements and meeting delivery dates has ensured success with the chain.

The Coldstone concept is a fun family atmosphere with vigorous interaction between the staff and the customer in a friendly and warm way.

Franchisees and Employees are selected carefully. Training and store support from start up are very important factor in Coldstone's success along with the love for ice cream which America has had since the first ice cream parlor opened in New York in 1776.
